Our history.

Chef Mike has worked for over 20 years in the restaurant industry, learning and honing his skills. Chef Mike has worked in prominent Michigan restaurants such as Golden Mushroom, Charley’s Crab, and Redd Dunn Kitchen. He has also working in Michelin starred Osteria de Passignano, in Tuscany Italy. From there he moved on to being the head chef at Il Camoscio, located in his parents hometown of Ovindoli, Italy. Chef Mike has learned how to use great products to bring to Mitten and Boot Café for your enjoyment.
